1. What services does SOGO Cambodia provide?

SOGO Cambodia support students through every step of their study-abroad journey, including:

2. Which countries can students apply to through SOGO?

Students can apply to several destinations through SOGO, including the USA, Australia, the UK, and China for university programs.

We support applications to the USA, Australia, the UK, Europe, and China, mainly for university programs. We have over 1,800 institutional partners around the world in 21+ countries.

Our core focus is the US market, especially the USA High School Exchange Program, the USA High School Program, and university placements. These programs allow students to experience real American school life, explore their interests early, and prepare confidently for their future studies.

3. Do you charge any service fees?

It depends on the program.

Some programs offer free application support, while others require a service fee.

4. How long does the application process take?

Processing time varies based on the institution and visa requirements. On average:

  • School/University application: 1–4 weeks
  • Visa preparation: Best to start 3 months before school starts, but should plan at least six months or one year ahead.  

Visa appointment & result: Depends on embassy availability.

5. What documents are required for study abroad applications?

Common documents include:

  • Passport
  • Transcripts and certificates
  • English test results (if required)
  • Financial documents
  • Personal statement
  • Recommendation letters

Requirements vary by country and school, we will guide you through everything.

6. Does SOGO offer homestay or accommodation support?

Yes. All SOGO programs are full-service.

• USA High School Program: Homestay is already included as part of the package.

• University Programs: We provide complete guidance on accommodation options, including dorms, homestays, and staying with relatives.

• Other Destinations: We support students with program placement, visa guidance, and accommodation arrangements to ensure everything is fully taken care of from start to finish.

7. Does SOGO organize study tours or short-term camps?

Yes. We organize summer/winter camps, cultural exchange trips, and short-term programs in countries like the USA, UK, Australia, Europe, and China.

8. What ages can join the programs?

  • High School Exchange: 15–18 years old
  • High School Program: 14–18 years old
  • University Programs: Grade 12 graduates
  • Study Tours: Usually 10–18 years old

9. How do parents know their child is safe abroad?

SOGO provides:

  • 24/7 emergency support
  • Regular updates
  • Direct communication with schools and homestays

10. Does SOGO support students after they arrive overseas?

Yes. We help with:

11. When should we start the application?

1. Is there insurance support during the trip?

Yes, all students are covered by travel insurance. Students safety is our top priority, therefore, we always provide insurance to support all the participants to ensure their safety

2. Is this package including everything or do I need to pay more for the trip?

Yes. Packages include:

  • Round-trip flights
  • 3–4 star hotels or dorm-style accommodations (all are clean, safe, and decent quality)
  • 3 meals per day
  • Visa
  • Insurance
  • All activity tickets

3. What are the required documents to register?

  • Parent permission letter
  • Passport
  • Birth certificate
  • 4x6 photo (white background)
  • School permission form
  • Parent’s passport copy
  • National ID card

4. Can I register for the trip but owe some of the documents?

Yes. Documents can be submitted later but must be completed before the closing date.

5. Will there be an orientation before the flight ?

Yes. All the participants will be called for the orientation to get all the related information to be ready for the trip (a pre- departure)

6. Can the parents join the trip with their children?

Yes

7. Can I make the payment or register online?

The student/parent has to make the payment at any Bursa of Aii/AIS while bringing along with them the required documents ( listed in #4)

8. Will there be staff/teachers joining the trip to support students?

Yes. There will be trip organizers joining the trip from Cambodia and even when we reach the destination.
