High school classrooms in the US have smaller size in student numbers than those in Cambodia. Depending on the state or locality, there are typically 7 to 28 kids in a high school classroom in the US. However, in Cambodia, classroom sizes are typically fairly large, with up to 50 kids in a public school classroom and fewer in a private school. In crowded classrooms, it is difficult for teachers to focus on each student and for students to interact with teachers during class activities.
